Job description

Do you have a passion for lorries and trailers and would you like to learn the trade of spray painting? With us, you’ll have the opportunity to train as a specialist in spray painting trailers. You’ll be involved in preparing trailers, mixing paint and applying various coats of paint. You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues who will teach you everything you need to know. All this in a family-run business that takes pride in its products and where you’ll get to work on these fantastic trailers!

 

You’ll learn the trade on the job, with guidance and training from your experienced colleagues. Of course, there are also opportunities to take a course if you wish, to give your new career as an industrial sprayer an extra boost!

 

In this role, you’ll start out as a trainee sprayer and work alongside a different experienced sprayer every day, who will teach you the trade. It’s a profession that demands precision and technical skill. The aim is for you to feel proud of yourself every time you’ve successfully sprayed another beautiful trailer in the right colour!

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing trailers for the spraying process; 

  • Applying gloss paints and coatings in accordance with specifications; 

  • Carrying out repairs and touch-ups where necessary; 

  • Conducting visual quality checks with a keen eye for detail; 

  • Ensuring a tidy and organised workplace.
