Pre-assembly Mechanic

Are you technically minded and do you enjoy working on unique vehicles? Then we have a great challenge for you! For our PRO Assembly department, we are looking for a Pre-assembly Technician to help build fully customised trailers for specialised and heavy-duty transport. No two days are the same; every trailer is different. 

As a Pre-assembly Technician, you will work on the pre-assembly line, where you will be responsible for: 

• Preparing and assembling components such as ramps, cable tracks, slewing rings, and braking and steering systems; 

• Assembling parts in accordance with technical drawings and diagrams; 

• Carrying out thorough quality checks to ensure that all components function correctly; 

• Ensuring that all parts are delivered correctly to the main lines; 

• Working with colleagues to build trailers that meet the highest quality standards and customer specifications.

• VMBO level of working and thinking (this role is also open to BBL students); 

• Technical understanding and experience with assembly work; 

• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical engineering is an advantage; 

• You work accurately, safely and keep your workplace tidy; 

• You are independent, flexible and have a genuine team spirit; 

• An affinity with special transport or trailers is a plus; 

• You are proficient in Dutch or English.
