Job description

Are you a technically skilled, analytical and pragmatic Production Engineer who thrives on structure and clarity? Do you ensure that all information for prototypes and pilot production runs is complete, consistent and free from confusion? Then we’re looking for you!

As a Production Engineer, you act as the technical link between Engineering, Production and the Supply Chain. You ensure that all necessary information is presented in a simple, comprehensive, up-to-date and unambiguous manner, so that new products can be launched efficiently, from the first prototype through to full-scale production.

You create structure, organise the flow of information and ensure that all departments involved work with the same data. Thanks to your work, the process of introducing new products is smooth and predictable.

In your role, you will be responsible for, amongst other things:

  • Setting up, managing and continuously improving the flow of information regarding new and modified products;

  • Drawing up, setting up, coordinating and approving a system for work instructions for Proto and Production;

  • Rolling out the use of viewer models, so that production and assembly always work with the correct visualisations;

  • Actively contributing to PLM implementation and the further digitisation of information flows;

  • Identifying bottlenecks and translating technical input into clear documentation and process improvements;

  • Supporting the transition from prototype → pilot series → series production.

You will work closely with Engineering, Work Planning, Prototyping and Production, and play a key role in creating a reliable, reproducible product launch.

What do we offer?

  • A family-run business with an informal atmosphere and a genuine concern for one another;

  • A challenging and varied role offering plenty of freedom and responsibility;

  • A dynamic working environment where you can shape your role in your own way;

  • Salary based on experience, paid fortnightly;

  • 25 days’ annual leave + 13 ADV days for a good work-life balance;

  • Development and training opportunities – let us know your preferences and we’ll work with you to find a solution;

  • Good pension scheme;

  • Travel allowance;

  • Terms and conditions of employment in accordance with the Metal & Engineering Collective Labour Agreement.

Job requirements

  • A completed MBO/HBO qualification in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or a similar field;

  • Experience in a production or engineering environment (experience with prototypes or pilot production runs is an advantage);

  • Strong organisational skills, with a focus on documentation, data management and process-oriented working;

  • Experience with 3D CAD and interpreting drawings and BOMs;

  • An affinity with PLM and/or ERP systems;

  • Accurate, communicative and proactive;

  • Good command of the Dutch language;

  • An affinity with electrical systems is an advantage.
