We are looking for a Service Engineer to join our Service & Support team, who will carry out maintenance and repairs on trailers for specialised and heavy-duty transport, both in the workshop and on site.

As a Service Engineer, you will mainly work in our workshop, but on average you will spend one day a week on site, and sometimes even a whole week. Your duties will include:

  • Carrying out scheduled maintenance and repairs on trailers in the workshop;

What do we offer?

  • A family-run business with an informal atmosphere and a genuine concern for one another;

  • A dynamic working environment where you can shape your role in a personalised way;

  • Salary based on experience, paid fortnightly;

  • 25 days’ annual leave + 13 days’ additional leave for a good work-life balance;

  • Development and training opportunities; let us know your preferences and we’ll work with you to find a solution;

  • Good pension scheme;

  • Travel allowance;

  • Terms of employment in accordance with the Metal & Engineering Collective Labour Agreement.

Job requirements

  • At least a vocational qualification (MBO) in a technical field, such as Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or Agricultural Mechanisation;

  • Good communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers;

  • Proficiency in English and German, both spoken and written, or a willingness to undertake language training;

  • Thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems;

  • Welding experience, preferably with certification, or willingness to undertake a course;

  • Willingness to travel regularly within Europe and occasionally beyond;

  • You enjoy tinkering, are hands-on and have a sense of responsibility;

  • There’s no such thing as a perfect score, so please feel free to get in touch!
